Dr. Shannon Pendergast was born on Long Island and grew up in Sugar Loaf, New York. She attended Palm Beach Atlantic University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Zoology. She then attended veterinary school at St. George’s University and completed her clinical year rotation at Cornell University, graduating in 2019. For the past seven years, she has been practicing at Douglassville Veterinary Hospital as a small animal veterinarian with interest in optimizing pet wellness and nutrition. Dr. Pendergast enjoys the ocean, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family. She currently lives in Strasburg, PA with her husband, son, and baby girl.
