Upon graduating from the Median School of Allied Health Careers (now, the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh) with an Associates in Specialized Technology in 2005, Nikki returned to her native Lancaster, passing the state boards the same year. Starting at Willow Run in 2008 her interests on the topics of nutrition and behavior have grown over the years and she hopes to pursue specialty certification in the near future. She currently shares her home with a very patient husband and their 4 adopted fur-kids:  Bonino the cat, and ferrets Sally, Sophia, and Zero.  There are talks of a puppy in the nearish future, but just the thought makes her tired…  Nikki spends her free time with family and friends, disc golfing, watching hockey (Let’s Go Pens!), doing crafty things and reading.
