Kim joined the team at Willow Run in April of 2018 after working in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She began her career in private practice and then expanded into Emergency/Critical Care Nursing, Internal Medicine and Oncology. Kim left the hospital setting to work within the pharmaceutical industry monitoring the safety and efficacy of many well known veterinary drugs; her work included drafting reports for both the FDA and USDA. Kim missed being part of the traditional hospital team and working directly with clients and their pets; she returned to the clinic environment and became a Practice Manager in 2014.
Kim fell in love with animals as a little girl and describes her husband as being “incredibly patient and understanding” despite her insistence that they have plenty of room for more pets (they don’t). Kim and her husband have 2 daughters that share their mom's same passion for animals. Their home would not be complete without Gwendalyn, their amazing Pit Bull, 2 mixed breed dogs named Holly and Nicholas, and a very stubborn cat named Tilly.
