Dr. Witmer grew up in Cockeysville, MD and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Syracuse University where she also competed on their DI lacrosse team. She completed her doctorate at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2022. Following graduation, Dr. Witmer worked at a high-volume general practice/urgent care facility in Hershey, PA where she developed her skills and passion for small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry.

Dr. Witmer lives in Elizabethtown, PA with her husband, Evan, who is a large animal veterinarian, and two dogs, a golden retriever, Cheeto, and a chocolate lab, Chip. In her spare time, she enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
